Carlos is an adorable and enthusiastic young dog who was rescued from the Oakland Shelter.

This big, plush furred boy is very energetic. He would love to play with each and every dog he encounters. He does need to learn how to appropriately greet a dog. Licking their face and bombarding their personal space is not the way. Carlos is learning how to socialize properly in daily structured doggie daycare. He would be great in a home with other dogs.

Carlos is all about affection. He is more than happy to lean in for human loving, and offers his tummy for rubbing. If given the chance, he will stay there all day long.

Carlos has been enrolled in a basic obedience course with a professional trainer. He now knows heel, sit, down and stay. Any adopter interested in Carlos should continue his training as he is still in the goofy puppy phase due to a lack of training up until he entered our rescue.

Carlos is a level 3 dog currently living in a foster home in Santa Cruz.
