Husband works from home. Frustrated with behaviour disrupting his workday. Did not want to follow advise of trainer, Julia Priest.

Cordial was picked up as a stray with a male GSD in the Sacramento area. She is super sweet and friendly with people and other dogs. She is currently being fostered in a home that includes a male GSD, and she has also lived with a couple of cats. She has frequented doggie daycare where she fits in very well and is known for mothering the younger dogs there.

Cordial knows some basic commands and is eager to please. She is housebroken, and she is becoming comfortable with crate time but would prefer being out and about with her people. She is good on car rides.

Probably from spending time in a walk-in kennel in her prior life or just at the shelter, Cordial has developed the habit of jumping up excitedly when anxious. If bored in the yard she will attempt to escape so best to be indoors when her people are away. She is very athletic and could be a great agility dog.

Cordial enjoys hanging out with her foster siblings and likes playing tag. When introduced to the resident cats she retreated when hissed at and redirected with correction. She would likely be cat workable with appropriate introduction and monitoring. She is really attracted to children.

Cordial is a Level 3 being fostered in Orangevale.
