Valley is a small Bicolor German Shepherd mixed with possibly another herding dog. Her eyes have the intensity of a border collie as well as a compact body shape.

Valley was a stray found wandering some fields in San Mateo. She’s come a long way since she came into the PHS animal shelter as her first few days found her scared and agitated. During her stay there, volunteers have taken it upon themselves to get her out on long walks with and without dogs. She is slowly blossoming and her confidence level has also improved. Still Valley is shy and will need slow introductions to new things. She seems to have had zero training and may have just been a backyard dog, if her fly struck ears are any indication. She is super sweet and affectionate once she is comfortable.

Valley is a level 3 dog who is currently living in a foster home in San Jose. She has a very soft demeanor and would be good for someone who is looking for total sweetness. She is crate trained. house trained, loves kids and is cat friendly.
