Chase is a curious and playful 6 month old puppy. She was an owner surrender when her family realized that taking care of two young children and a puppy was more then they could handle. Chase is shy with people at first, but warms up quickly. She is large and small dog friendly. She does like to play rough and tumble. She would do well with another energetic dog in her forever home.

Chase is a counter surfer, she is potty trained and house trained. She is not destructive and has just started to learn how to play with toys. She is very intelligent and will need obedience training. We have started taking her to a basic obedience class weekly. She will need a committed puppy approved adopter to continue her obedience training. Chase does take correction well.

Chase lived with 3 large and 3 small dogs and a cat in a temporary foster home. Chase is now living in a foster home in San Jose with a high energy, super playful female GSD and a child. She is doing really well in a structured home with lots of ways to expend her energy.

We will continue to update her bio as we learn more about Chase. She is a level 3 puppy and an adopter must be puppy approved to adopt. Chase is cat workable. She will chase if they run. The cat should be dominant and fearless and Chase will need her adopter to provide a slow and structured introduction with the resident cat.
