Trayne lived his whole life with one family until they lost their home and could no longer keep him.

Trayne is an 8 year old male German Shepherd who lived his whole life with one family. Sadly they lost their home and could no longer keep him and so he came into Rescue. Trayne is a sweet, friendly, and affectionate dog who loves belly rubs. He is house trained and rides nicely in the car.

Before coming to rescue Trayne was involved in an accident and had some soft tissue injury. There is no bone injury and our vet suggests it may be a groin pull. At times he will favor his leg for a short bit of time and then recovers and walks normally. Sort of like having a charley-horse. Now that he is feeling better he will play more with his foster brother and run in the yard to chase the squirrels.

Trayne is calm and content in the house. He walks nicely on a leash and takes treats very gently.

Trayne is living with a dog savvy cat. He is very interested in the cat but they have come to an “understanding” and are avoiding one another. His foster mom says he can likely live with a similar dog savvy cat, as long as his new owners are willing to put time into training.

Trayne has very few needs other than a person or family to love him and take him for walks about the neighborhood. He is a low energy dog who will be content to hang out and watch the Telly with his peeps.

If you’re looking for a smart, loyal and loving companion Trayne is the one for you.
