Margeaux is a gorgeous 5-month old female GSD/Mal mix puppy that was an owner surrender, as her family could no longer care for her.

Margeaux is a very sweet, loving little girl, who can be shy until she gets to know you. Because of her shyness, we have been taking things slow until she feels more comfortable in her foster home, so as to not overwhelm her. She will need slow introductions to other animals and people. As she matures and gains confidence, this behavior will subside.

Upon arrival to her foster home, she was introduced to a senior male German Shepherd and did really well. She has not shown any interest in toys, as yet, but again we believe this will change once she feels comfortable. She appears to be crate trained, and slept all night with no issues, and so far has not had any accidents in the house. She walks really well on a leash.

Margeaux is new to our program, so we will post more information as we come to know her better.

It will be necessary for an adopter to have experience in raising a GSD or other large working breed puppy, as well as begin an obedience course based upon positive re-enforcement to help Margeaux become a well-behaved canine citizen.

Margeaux is a Level 3 puppy being fostered in the Santa Cruz mountains.
