Avalanche is a very affectionate 6-mo pup picked up as a stray along with a female pup in the Sacramento area. He sometimes seems like an adult GSD in a puppy body and has easily settled into his foster pack of two GSDs. He will sit in front of you with eye focus for as long as you are willing to stroke him.

Avlanche has generally good house manners and is quickly learning sit and down. He is pretty confident but sometimes needs encouragement when seeing something for the first time, like his reflection. He is super treat motivated and will alarm bark if he thinks you should know about something.

Avlanche is housebroken and sleeps through the night crated in the bedroom although he would prefer sleeping on his pillow and could be trusted to do so. He is learning that sitting to wait for his food gets better results than counter surfing. He rides quietly in the car and enjoys leash walks.

Avlanche likes toys. He enjoys surrounding himself with them and then falling asleep. He also likes following his GSD foster sister around. He likes hanging out with her and his senior GSD foster brother. He has not yet been introduced to cats.

Avlanche is a Level 3 being fostered in the Woodland area. Come by the Sacramento Adoption Day Saturday for some puppy kisses.
